Lou-Williams

NBA’s 6th Man of the Year, Lou Williams, has been gearing up for this upcoming NBA season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Recently, Lou has landed multiple press opportunities, including a full feature with Fuse TV. Still staying true to his Atlanta roots, Lou couldn’t leave ATL without being a part of Ludacris’ annual ‘LudaDay Weekend,’ playing in the celebrity basketball game against peers such as Chris Brown, Iman Shumpert, Omarion, and many more. Off the court, Lou has recently paired up with apparel brands Ethika and Milano Di Rouge for upcoming partnerships.

Theory Communications had the pleasure of assisting in curating The Ultimate Tailgate Experience, the first official festival for football fanatics. This event, hosted by NFL champion Deon Grant, consisted of a jumbotron screen playing all major 2nd week NFL games, cash bars & grills, a Microsoft Madden tournament booth, and several vendors such as ADT Home Security and barbecue phenom Hottie’s Hawgs.

Theory Communications was hired to manage media and celebrity wrangling at the 10th annual Ludaday Weekend hosted by hip hop icon and actor, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges. This 5-day event consisted of – a bowling & spades tournament, golf tournament, Welcome to Atlanta dinner at the Coca-Cola headquarters, 107.9 block party at the AUC, Ludacris Foundation brunch, the Ludacris Vs. Chris Brown celebrity basketball game, and a host nightlife events. Celebrities including – Chris Brown, Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union, Omari Hardwick, John Wall, Terrence J and more were in attendance for this fun-filled Labor Day weekend.

Theory Communications welcomed South Carolina native & up-and-coming hip-hop star Stadium P to our Entertainment division. After releasing his newest single, ‘Deep End’, from his mixtape Independence Day 2, Theory Communications secured press for Stadium P on several entertainment blogs including Hip Hop Since 1987, Why Cause I Can, and Let’s Talk Bluntly. Stadium P was recently nominated for “Grinder of the Year” on online magazine www.GeeCheeOne.com

Entrepreneur Ming Lee and SnobLife Studios have continued to dominate the beauty industry throughout September! Marketing-wise, Ming Lee launched her MMS sale list, where SnobLife customers can text SnobLife to 3131 to join her text messaging list for SnobLife sales, exclusives deals, new product launches and more. Ming also hosted her annual birthday blow-out weave sale, so successful she will be announcing a part 2 this upcoming month! Zonnique, singer and daughter of Tameka “Tiny” Harris, can be seen wearing hair from SnobLife in her first solo music video, Nun For Free, featuring Young Thug. Ming also released her new line of SnobLife edge tamer and other Snob novelty products that can be found on www.snoblife.com.

September has been a very productive month for premiere eyebrow salon, Candy Brow Bar. Outside of keeping brows flawless by using thread, wax, and tint, the Candy Brow Bar brand has officially expanded. The long awaited ‘Candy Tint’ is now available for pre-sale! Bodies of Steele, a new addition to the Theory Communications Lifestyle division, has been thriving this month. William Steele, owner and head personal trainer, takes pride in providing very affordable workout and meal plans for clients. Celebrities such as reality television star Toya Wright and daughter Reginae Carter are faithful clients at Bodies of Steele, who continuously boast about their fast and undeniable results.

Theory Communications also welcomed upscale fashion line Milano di Rouge to the Lifestyle division. Known for colliding couture and streetwear, Milano di Rouge’s collections offer an edgy yet unique style that urban fashion has been missing. Milano recently released their Fall 2015 collection, and many can be seen in Milano including celebrities such as Lala Anthony, Meek Mill, Angela Simmons and young star-athlete Mo’ne Davis.

Lastly, Theory Communications Lifestyle division welcomed Status Life ATL, a lifestyle apparel shop owned by legendary skateboarder Stevie Williams. Theory Communications curated a successful grand opening hosted by Williams and Streetz 94.5 radio personality Sarah ViVan, with drinks powered by Avion Tequila and Seagram’s Gin. Guests came to the new store to ‘sip and shop’ while enjoying sweets from Sweetshots Cupcakes, and meet and greet with hosts and surprise celebrity guests such as media mogul Angela Yee.
